A group of friends and I spent my birthday weekend in New York City. We saw Shingo Katori in the off-Broadway show "Talk Like Singing," had a fabulous dinner at Village Yokocho (our favorite izakaya) and enjoyed the rest of the evening at Decibel Sake Bar.
